Roast Dinner
Sundays at home always includes a roast dinner. Yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes and parsnips, carrots and beans or spinach. My husband’s contribution is the gravy, the recipe passed down from father to son, (Well, my husband has taught our son).
Roast dinner for me symbolises family; it’s the smell and memories of childhood something I want for my son to have too.
It is super easy especially with the website www.bbcgoodfood.com which gives roast cooking times. Whatever the meat, you type in the weight, and the website gives you the times and temperature requirements. For lamb or beef, preferences can be given as to how rare or well done you like your meat. Fantastic.
