Cedarbank Studio’s

YEWTREE COTTAGE ART HOUSE

Sitting just outside the Scottish National Park and 5 mins walk from the sea is Cedarbank Studio’s Yewtree Cottage.

A one bedroomed cottage full to the brim with art.

Seven artists show in the cottage and all the artwork is for sale.

We have watercolours, oils, lino prints and ceramics.

All the artists offer lessons – just give them a call to arrange a convenient time.

Sitting in it’s own garden, Yewtree offers more than just an Airbnb experience. An opportunity to take part in local art or outdoor pursuits – you’ll find the contact numbers for recommended qualified and insured mountain leaders who will happily show you the easy or maybe not so easy local trails.

Got a bike, we have a bike lock up and qualified mountain bike leaders who can help you find the best rides around.

It’s a quirky little base – which we hope you’ll enjoy calling home while you visit Argyll.

You should read this..we want you to enjoy the cottage.

You’ll have the full use of the cottage with plenty of storage for clothes, bikes, art equipment and outdoor gear. Free Wifi and Freeview TV, books and board games ensure there are options at the end of a day or if a day-in is planned.

Yewtree is furnished with a comfortable king sized bed or twin beds (just let me know what you would prefer when you book.) The sofa downstairs in the living room can be converted to a chaise longue or single bed – so at a push, the cottage will accommodate three.

The kitchen has a fridge, hob, oven, toaster, kettle and microwave. There are some dried goods in the cupboard too – just in case.

Check-in time is 3 PM – 8 PM and check out by 10 AM
Pet friendly – Well behaved dogs are welcome at the cottage but not on the furniture.

(£30 cleaning supplement should you choose to bring your dog.)

No smoking, parties, or events please.

There are a bath and shower at the cottage and all linen and towels are included, making your stay as easy as possible.

You are encouraged to use the garden, it’s quiet and a perfect place for eating outdoors. The fenced garden keeps my dog in, but I don’t know yours so make sure you’re happy before just letting your precious friend out.
(It goes without saying I’m sure, that you should make sure the garden is as clean as when you found it.)

Situated at the end of a quiet residential lane within 5 minutes walk to shore and coffee shops in Kirn.

Yewtree is an ideal base to explore Dunoon, Argyll and the West of Scotland. If you want to explore further then there are lots of opportunities for walking climbing and water sports within the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park only half an hour away.

These artists have work in the cottage and offer lessons.
