To quote Cicero ‘If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need.’ I see where he is coming from but I think you also need a box of paints.

I love reading and always have a book or two on the go.  Finding a quiet corner of the garden, cosy in front of the log burner or hidden from view down at the beach there is nothing like being immersed in words.

When I don’t have time to sit and read I can be found working away listening to an audiobook downloaded onto my phone. I have just discovered Montmorency by Eleanor Updale, similar in style to Sherlock Holmes. That should keep me busy for a while.
